If your product comes with a warranty, TFA Dostmann GmbH & Co.KG, Zum Ottersberg 12, 97877 Wertheim, Germany, Tel. +49-9342-3080, Fax +49-9342-30849, furnishes a manufacturer’s warranty during the specified warranty period from the date of purchase.
If the unit in spite of the measures mentioned does not function properly during the warranty period, we shall undertake at our expense either to repair the defective unit or to replace the unit.
The warranty does not extend to damage caused by extreme temperatures, vibrations, shaking, liquids, mishandling, unauthorised interventions, thermal or battery-induced corrosion and damage to wear parts. No claims for damages against TFA Dostmann GmbH & Co. KG are substantiated by the warranty.
Our manufacturer’s warranty does not affect your legal rights. If the unit is defective, you are, in addition to the warranty, covered by your legal rights in respect of the dealer from whom you purchased the unit, irrespective of whether the event making the warranty operative occurs or not.
You may make a claim under our manufacturer’s warranty by sending
- the unit
- together with a copy of the proof of purchase
- and a brief description of the fault
- in a sufficiently postage-paid package
directly to the address below.
Sending the package within the time stipulated shall suffice for the purpose of observing the warranty period. In the event of the package being lost the forwarding costs and responsibility shall not be borne by TFA Dostmann. We shall at our expense send you the repaired or replaced unit.

Did you follow the instruction correctly? Download and print your lost manuals at Downloads.
Did you use the correct batteries with sufficient capacity? Do not use rechargeable batteries!
Concerning products with radio transmission, please check the following:
In the case of loss of the radio signal reinstall the batteries of receiver and transmitter. Follow the instructions as described in the manual. The distance between receiver and transmitter should be about 1 meter when starting up. After reception observe the instruments side by side for some time to guarantee a long-term radio contact.
If the radio signal gets lost again at the final location choose another place for the transmitter and/or receiver. Avoid interfering sources (like other electrical products with radio waves, electromagnetic interference, metal parts etc.) to improve the radio contact.
Please note that the specified maximum range is based on free field conditions and can be reduced considerably by obstacles (ferroconcrete, walls, windows), interfering sources and weak batteries.
